A friend in need is a friend indeed
As an old saying goes, "A friend in need is a friend indeed". We don't need so much friends. It is happy to have one or two true friends in life. As for me, one of  my friends named Li Huiping, my  junior high school monitor, tries her best to help me out of  my dilemma when I am in trouble. She has long hair, bright eyes and a small cherry mouth. She is a beauty. Most importantly, she is exceedingly warmhearted. I have a vivid recollection of the fact that she helped me improve my poor maths. I was poor in maths at that time. I was afraid that I was likely to fail the senior high school entrance examination. I was upset. Upon knowing my situation, she comforted me and primised that she could help me improve my maths. We studied together and often run in our spare time. We became best friends. Through her effort and my hard work,  I was admitted to the best high school in the county. Nowadays, I am a sophomore in Lingnan Normal University and she is a junior student in South China Agriculture University. In spite of the distance, we frequently keep in touch with each other. She encourages me to realize my dreams through my effort. When I have no money, she gives me money with hesitation. I am very happy to have such a true friend like her. Thanks to her help, I become who I am today. As long as one has a true friend, he is close even when far away.
